Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and CTF Designs, LLC, the owner and operator of ineedsomethingtowatch.com and its recommendation features (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

Accounts and saved library

You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. Signed-in features can store searches, results, favorites, watchlists, and episode progress. Keep your information accurate, notify us of suspected unauthorized access, and understand that synchronization or stored data may occasionally be delayed, unavailable, or lost.

What the Service does

The Service uses artificial intelligence to suggest up to three television series based on information you provide. It may also display estimated streaming services and token usage. Recommendations are for entertainment and informational purposes only.

AI and availability limitations

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, or unsuitable. Streaming catalogs, pricing, regions, plans, and availability change frequently. Service badges are estimates, not guarantees. Verify titles, content ratings, and availability with the relevant streaming service before relying on them.

Your input

You keep any rights you have in text you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited right to process that text only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information or content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use and safeguards

You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, bypass limits, automate high-volume requests, probe or attack systems, reverse engineer protected components, submit malicious instructions, violate law or third-party rights, or use output to cause harm. We may block unsafe or off-topic requests. Use is limited to ten recommendation searches per day per network identifier; attempts to evade the limit may result in suspension or blocking.

Intellectual property

The Site design, code, brand, and original content are owned by CTF Designs, LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable law. Show titles, streaming-service names, and third-party marks belong to their respective owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Premium plan

Premium pricing and checkout are not currently available. Joining the premium list does not create a purchase, subscription, reservation, or promise of a particular price or feature. If paid plans launch, the price, renewal terms, included features, cancellation process, and any additional billing terms will be shown before purchase.

Third-party services

The Service depends on providers including Netlify, OpenAI, Supabase, PostHog, and external availability sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, or actions.

Changes and termination

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or reliable operation. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTF Designs, LLC and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or use arising from the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the prior twelve months or US $100.
